About Oskarshamn nuclear power plant

Oskarshamn nuclear power plant is located on the Simpevarp peninsula north of Oskarshamn in Kalmar County and is operated by OKG. Since Oskarshamn 1 and 2 were closed, Oskarshamn 3 is the only reactor in operation – a boiling water reactor from 1985 that, after a power uprate, is Sweden's most powerful single reactor at 1,450 MW.
